Israeli Police Arrest Suspects in Killing of Caucasian Mafia Leader Near Caesarea

Two days after the dramatic assassination of the Caucasian mafia leader near the Caesarea interchange, Israeli police arrested several suspects in the city of Hadera. The arrests, carried out by the Yamam counterterrorism unit following an extensive manhunt, include the main suspect believed to have carried out the shooting. All suspects were transferred to the Central Unit of the Haifa District Police for further interrogation. Authorities expect additional arrests as the investigation continues.

The victim, a man in his mid-40s considered a high-priority target by the Haifa District Police, was shot at point-blank range outside a restaurant near the Hadera power station. The killing was captured on security cameras showing the assassin waiting for the target to exit before shooting him in the head and fleeing the scene. The victim was critically wounded, rushed to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera, and pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Police are conducting an intensive investigation into the incident.
