Israeli Counterterror Unit Arrests Suspects in Caucasian Mafia Boss Murder in Caesarea

Following an intelligence-led manhunt by the Coastal District Police, Israeli counterterrorism unit YAMAM arrested suspects in Hadera linked to the murder of Caucasian mafia leader Yanis Yusubayev. Yusubayev was fatally shot on Sunday in Caesarea. The investigation was assigned to the Coastal District's central unit, which launched an intensive search for the perpetrators immediately after the killing. Significant intelligence work by the district police led to identifying the suspects, who were apprehended recently by YAMAM forces. The detainees have been transferred for further interrogation as the investigation continues to uncover all involved parties. Israel Police Commissioner Major General Dany Levi closely monitored the probe's progress and praised the efforts of YAMAM and the Coastal District police for the arrests.
