Shin Bet Joins Search for Missing Woman Heymenot Kasau After Two and a Half Years

Israeli President Isaac Herzog met with the family of Heymenot Kasau, who has been missing for approximately two and a half years, to update them on the ongoing search efforts. Herzog informed the family that the Shin Bet security agency recently joined the investigation following a request from the Israel Police. He emphasized that the Shin Bet is fully engaged in the case and is contributing all available resources to locate Kasau.

During the meeting at the President's Residence on Tuesday, Herzog shared that he had spoken with Shin Bet Chief David Zini, who confirmed the agency's involvement and cooperation with the police. Herzog described Kasau as "a daughter of all the people of Israel," highlighting the national concern and priority given to her case by law enforcement agencies.

The president reassured the family that the search for Heymenot remains a top priority and that the state is exerting significant efforts using all means at its disposal to find her. The Shin Bet's recent entry into the investigation marks a new phase in the ongoing efforts to resolve the case.
