Family of Missing Girl Heymenot Kasao Demands Shin Bet's Immediate Involvement After 899 Days

As the 899th day since the disappearance of nine-year-old Heymenot Kasao approaches, her family and supporters are organizing a special protest near the Shin Bet headquarters. Heymenot was abducted from a reception center in Safed, and despite the passage of nearly two and a half years, the Israel Police have no leads or information on her whereabouts. Due to the stalled police investigation, the family and activists are calling on Shin Bet chief David Zini and the agency to urgently join the search efforts. They highlight that Shin Bet recently established a specialized unit using advanced intelligence capabilities to combat organized crime and arms trafficking in Arab society, and that it actively participated in the search for another missing child, Yuval Kogan. The Kasao family demands that Shin Bet allocate its technological and intelligence resources to help locate Heymenot, insisting on "no more excuses, only results."
