Israeli Paratroopers Destroy Tunnel Holding Fallen Soldier Hadar Goldin in Gaza

The Israeli Paratroopers Brigade completed a three-month mission in the Gaza Strip on Monday and is now redeploying to the West Bank region of Judea and Samaria. During their deployment under the command of the Gaza Division 143 and Division 99, the troops focused on defense and clearing terrorist infrastructure along the "yellow line" border area. Working alongside engineering units, the paratroopers destroyed and sealed underground tunnels totaling 13 kilometers in length, including the tunnel where Lieutenant Hadar Goldin was held captive before his death.

In addition to underground operations, the brigade uncovered and destroyed various terrorist weapons caches used by Hamas, including RPG rockets, mortar shells, grenades, launchers, and ammunition. The forces also established new routes and outposts to strengthen defense capabilities in the area. Following the completion of their Gaza mission, the paratroopers are set to begin operations in Judea and Samaria, though the IDF has not disclosed the nature of these upcoming tasks.

Meanwhile, IDF Southern Command forces remain deployed in Gaza in accordance with the ceasefire arrangement, continuing efforts to eliminate immediate threats and maintain the defense posture in the region.
