Influencer Says Her Husband Is on Dialysis and Needs a Kidney Transplant

Israeli social media personality Orit Shoham-Raavad said today that her husband, Itzik, needs a kidney donation and is currently connected to dialysis. She made the disclosure in a post on social media, saying the family had decided it was time to share what they are going through.

In her post, she wrote, “Sometimes behind the smile there is a story you do not see, but it is time to share, my Itzik is connected to dialysis and waiting for a kidney that will change his life.” She added that she and her followers should pray for strength until they can announce “that the waiting is over and the transplant succeeded” and that everything will be “in health and joy.”

Shoham-Raavad also thanked her family and friends for surrounding them and thanked God for “this not simple test.” The public was asked to pray for the recovery of Yitzhak ben Leah, together with the other sick people of Israel.
