Jerusalem Police Arrest Repeat Offender Driving with Suspended License and Using False Identity
Jerusalem police officers from the traffic division arrested a 27-year-old resident of Abu Tor in Givat Shaul for driving with a suspended license. This marks the fourth time in recent years that the suspect has been caught driving while his license was invalid. During the vehicle inspection, authorities discovered that the suspect had impersonated another person and violated house arrest conditions. The suspect's driving license had expired in 2023, and he is currently involved in ongoing legal proceedings for similar traffic offenses. Following his arrest and interrogation, the suspect was detained. The Jerusalem District Traffic Prosecution plans to request an extension of his detention and file formal charges against him, seeking to keep him in custody until the conclusion of the legal process.
