Hapoel Beersheba Weighs Vitor’s Future as Squad Planning Continues
Hapoel Beersheba, fresh off the signing of Marco Wolff on Sunday night, is continuing to build its squad for the 2026/27 season. The reigning champions want Miguel Vitor to stay for another season and are prepared to offer him a contract.
The main obstacle is Vitor himself, who must decide whether he is willing to return as a non-leading center back. Club officials said, “Anyone who knows Vitor knows how emotional he is and how important Beersheba is to him, but he has to make a decision with himself and his family.”
In addition to the center-back issue, the club is also examining other options at left back, although Helder Lopes remains in the picture. Niv Yehoshua is expected to sign officially already today.
