Man in His 50s Drowns at Coral Beach in Eilat
A man around 50 years old drowned on Tuesday near Coral Beach in Eilat. He was pulled from the water unconscious. Paramedics and emergency medical technicians from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived at the scene and performed resuscitation efforts, including chest compressions, ventilation, and medication administration. Despite their attempts, they were forced to declare the man dead at the site. MDA paramedic Udi Edri and emergency medical technician Yehuda Ben Yitach from the motorcycle unit described how civilians initially performed basic resuscitation before the medical team took over.
