Woman Dies in Early Morning Fire in Holon
A woman in her 40s was found dead following a fire in Holon early Tuesday morning. Emergency teams responded to the blaze on HaOrgim Street after receiving a call at 06:09 from the Magen David Adom (MDA) dispatch center in the Ayalon region. Paramedics reported the woman was unconscious, without pulse or breathing, suffering from burns and smoke inhalation. Despite medical efforts, her death was confirmed at the scene. Paramedics Lior Paz and Omri Wikslebaum described encountering heavy smoke and flames upon arrival, with firefighters rescuing the woman during their extinguishing efforts. Additional MDA teams supported firefighting operations and stood ready to provide further medical assistance if needed.
