80-Year-Old Woman Suffers Burns at Home in Haifa, Condition Moderate

An 80-year-old woman was burned in her home in Haifa on Sunday morning and was taken to Rambam Hospital for further treatment. Magen David Adom said medics were dispatched after a report came in to its 101 emergency center in the Carmel district.

Paramedics and EMTs gave the woman initial treatment at the scene. According to MDA, she suffered burns to her upper body and her condition was defined as moderate.

The medical teams worked to stabilize her and ease her pain before evacuating her to the Haifa hospital for continued care. MDA said the circumstances of the burns are being checked, and no further details were released.
