Iran Says Memorandum Text Will Be Released After Official Signature
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi said that an immediate and permanent end to the war and military operations on various fronts, including Lebanon, would be announced starting tonight. He also said that, from tonight, the American naval blockade against Iran would come to an end.
Takht-Ravanchi added that the text of the memorandum of understanding will be published only after the official signing. He stressed that the wording does not mean Iran trusts its adversary.
He said negotiations on a final agreement will take place over a 60-day period.
