Bride and Groom Detained After Causing Major Traffic Jam Near Beersheba

On Friday afternoon, a bride and groom, along with nearly 16 vehicles of wedding guests, caused a significant traffic jam on Route 40 near Beersheba, where about 15 weddings were taking place in the Bedouin community. The long convoy created a severe blockage on the road, prompting police intervention. Officers from the local police station arrived at the scene and detained the bride, groom, and several guests for questioning. After the investigation, all were released but received warnings against causing public disturbances on the roads, as the event was deemed life-threatening due to the traffic hazard it created.
