Police Detain Bride and Groom for Blocking Roads with Wedding Convoy in Negev

Police officers from the Rotem district stopped a wedding convoy on Negev roads after participants allegedly blocked the road, committed traffic violations, and caused significant congestion. The bride and groom were detained for questioning on their wedding day. According to the police, the convoy's actions seriously disrupted traffic flow and endangered other road users. The enforcement operation led to the arrest of the convoy and the detention of the couple. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir praised the police action, stating that those who deliberately cause traffic jams and disturbances on Negev roads will be held accountable.
