Bride and Groom Detained After Blocking Highway 40 with Wedding Convoy

A wedding celebration in southern Israel ended with the bride and groom being detained by police after their convoy deliberately caused major traffic disruptions on Highway 40. The convoy accompanying the couple intentionally created severe traffic jams, significantly impacting the flow of vehicles and causing widespread inconvenience to other drivers. Police from the Rotem district responded to the scene, stopped the disturbance, and took the bride and groom to the police station for questioning. In addition to their detention, traffic fines were issued to those involved for the violations committed on the highway.
