Israeli Police Reveal Brutal Preplanned Murder of Benyahu Razi by Girlfriend and Accomplices

The investigation into the murder of 19-year-old Benyahu Razi from Givat Ze'ev has uncovered a premeditated and brutal attack orchestrated by his 19-year-old girlfriend, Agam Tzarfati, and several accomplices. Razi was stabbed to death about a month ago in a violent lynching at an Airbnb apartment in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem. According to Rotem Hila Zaken, the lead investigator, the suspects planned the murder in advance and showed no remorse throughout the inquiry.

The investigation began after an emergency call to Magen David Adom on a Saturday evening. Police interrogated Metanya, who was injured at the scene, and gathered video evidence revealing the involvement of Agam Tzarfati, Shilat Huta, and four minors. The suspects rented the Airbnb for a weekend, invited Razi and Metanya, and after days of partying, alleged abuse by the men led the women to incite violence. The group armed themselves with weapons including bats, knives, and hammers.

During the attack, Agam watched a live video of the assault and even smiled, contradicting her claims of ignorance about Razi’s death. The investigation exposed Linor Sasson, who allegedly drove her son to commit the murder and attempted to obstruct the investigation by helping the suspects flee Jerusalem. The suspects changed clothes and wore hats to avoid identification, behaving like hardened criminals.

Police officers described the suspects, many minors, as unrepentant and detached, often smiling during interrogations. They carried weapons without explanation and showed no remorse for their actions. The case highlights a disturbing rise in youth violence in Israel. Defense attorneys for the accused argue that Agam did not plan the murder and that the stabbing was an act of self-defense.
