Investigation Reveals 19-Year-Old Soldier Planned Boyfriend's Brutal Murder in Jerusalem Airbnb

The investigation into the murder of 19-year-old Benyahu Razi from Givat Ze'ev has uncovered chilling details about the involvement of his 19-year-old girlfriend, Agam Tzarfati, and others in a premeditated attack. Razi was fatally stabbed in a violent lynching at an Airbnb apartment in the Nahalat neighborhood of Jerusalem about a month ago.

Police commander Rotem Hila Zaken, leading the inquiry, confirmed that the suspects, including Tzarfati and Shilat Chuta, had planned the murder in advance. The attack followed a weekend during which the suspects rented the apartment and invited Razi and another young man, Metanya, to join them. After days of socializing, the women claimed the men were violent, then moved to another apartment where they armed themselves with weapons such as bats, knives, and hammers.

During the assault, Tzarfati watched a live video of the attack and reportedly smiled, despite later denying knowledge of Razi’s death during interrogation. Investigators assert she lied and showed no remorse. Linor Sasson, another suspect, allegedly facilitated the crime by driving her son to the scene and later attempting to obstruct the investigation and help the suspects flee Jerusalem.

The suspects, including four minors, changed clothes and wore hats to evade identification. Police described their behavior as cold and unrepentant, with some laughing during interrogations. The case highlights a disturbing rise in youth violence in Israel, with minors carrying weapons and showing disregard for consequences.

Defense attorneys for Tzarfati and another suspect argue their clients did not plan the murder and acted in self-defense or under complex emotional circumstances. The investigation continues as the court process unfolds.
