Israeli Woman Allegedly Kidnapped by Family Found in Hebron by Police and IDF

A young woman in her twenties, residing in a supported living arrangement in the Gush Dan area of central Israel, was located in Hebron after allegedly being forcibly taken by her family. The incident was reported in the evening when the woman was reportedly taken by family members in their vehicle, raising suspicions that they had entered Hebron.

The Israel Police's Judea and Samaria District, with assistance from IDF fighters from the Judea Brigade operating in and around Hebron, quickly launched an operation to locate the woman. Police forces from the Hebron station, the district's coordination and liaison unit, and IDF troops deployed around the city's outskirts, while the Palestinian police conducted searches for the family.

The suspected vehicle was spotted leaving a nearby town and was intercepted by IDF soldiers who called in police officers. The young woman was taken into police custody for her protection, and her family members were detained at the Hebron police station for investigation. They are expected to be transferred to investigators in the Tel Aviv district for further questioning.
