Israeli Woman Forcibly Taken by Family Found in Hebron After Joint Police-IDF Operation
A woman in her twenties, residing in a supported living arrangement in the Gush Dan area, was forcibly taken by her family members in a vehicle and located in Hebron following a joint operation by Israeli police and the IDF. The incident began in the evening when police received a report that the woman had been taken against her will by family members. Intelligence and operational efforts led authorities to suspect the family was in Hebron.
Police from the Judea district and IDF soldiers from the Judea Brigade deployed around the city outskirts, while the Palestinian police conducted searches for the family. The vehicle was eventually spotted leaving the town and stopped by IDF forces, who summoned Israeli police. The woman was taken into police custody, and her family members were detained and brought to the Hebron police station for investigation. They are expected to be transferred to Tel Aviv district investigators for further handling of the case.
