Israeli Woman Forcibly Taken to Hebron Area Rescued by Security Forces

A woman in her 20s, residing in a supported housing framework in the Gush Dan area, was located near Hebron on Thursday evening after being taken from her home against her will. The rescue operation involved a joint effort by Shin Bet police officers from the Judea and Samaria district, IDF soldiers, and the Palestinian police. Family members suspected of involvement were detained for questioning.

Following the initial report, Judea and Samaria district police launched operational and intelligence activities that indicated the suspects were within Hebron city. The search and rescue operation included Hebron police station officers, representatives from the Police Coordination and Liaison Administration, and IDF fighters from the Yehuda Brigade. Concurrently, the Palestinian police conducted searches for the family members inside the city.

Security forces deployed around Hebron's outskirts eventually identified a suspicious vehicle leaving the town. IDF soldiers stopped the vehicle and called police to the scene. The woman was found safe and handed over to police custody. The detained family members were taken to the Hebron police station for initial investigation and will later be transferred to investigators in the Tel Aviv district for further questioning.
