Jewish Israeli Rescued From Qalqilya Market After Entering to Shop

An Israeli civilian was found in the market in the city of Qalqilya after entering the area in her private vehicle, apparently to shop. Civil Administration officers worked to provide immediate protection and transfer her safely to security forces. The incident was handed over to the police for further handling, and the security establishment is again warning against entering Area A.

This evening, Wednesday, the Civil Administration received a report about a Jewish woman, an Israeli citizen, who was seen in the city of Qalqilya in the Ephraim Brigade area, with concern for her safety. Following the report, officers from the Ephraim Military Coordination and Liaison Headquarters were dispatched and worked quickly to locate her and provide immediate protection.

At the same time, security coordination channels were activated, through which the Israeli woman was transferred unharmed to security forces. A preliminary inquiry indicates that she entered the Palestinian city in her private vehicle, apparently in order to shop at the local market. The case has been transferred for further handling by the Judea and Samaria District Police, which will examine the circumstances of the incident and the manner in which she entered the city.
