Gadi Eizenkot Surges Ahead of Netanyahu in Polls for Next Israeli Prime Minister
International betting site Polymarket has shown a significant shift in Israeli political leadership preferences, with Gadi Eizenkot, leader of the Yashar party, overtaking Benjamin Netanyahu. As of Thursday, Eizenkot leads Netanyahu by over 20 percentage points in the question of who will be Israel's next prime minister, with 54% supporting Eizenkot compared to Netanyahu's 31%. This marks a new high in Eizenkot's lead.

A survey published on Channel 13 indicates that Yashar, under Eizenkot's leadership, is now the largest party with 23 Knesset seats, followed by Netanyahu's Likud party with 21 seats.
