Gadi Eizenkot's Yashar Party Widens Lead Over Netanyahu's Likud in New Poll
A new Channel 13 poll released on Wednesday shows Gadi Eizenkot's Yashar party gaining momentum, now projected to win 26 Knesset seats, an increase of three from the previous poll. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party also strengthened, rising by two seats to 23, following recent party primaries.
Naftali Bennett's Yachdav party holds third place with 13 seats, up one from last week, while the Democratic camp led by Yair Golan secures 11 seats. Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu drops by one seat to nine. Otzma Yehudit, led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, and United Torah Judaism each receive eight seats, Shas seven, and Religious Zionism, Ra'am, and Hadash-Ta'al five seats apiece.
Several parties fail to cross the electoral threshold, including "Beit Tzioni-Hamiluimnikim" with 1.6%, Gilad Erdan and Yuli Edelstein's "Unity Party" at 1.2%, Benny Gantz's Blue and White at 1.8%, and Balad at 1.9%. In bloc terms, Netanyahu's coalition gains two seats to 51, while the opposition bloc rises to 69 seats, including 10 from Arab parties.
Regarding suitability for prime minister, Eizenkot leads with 47% support, unchanged from the last poll. Netanyahu's support increases by four points to 38%, while 15% of respondents remain undecided.
