Maccabi Tel Aviv Advances in Talks to Acquire Young Forward Israel Dapa from Hapoel Jerusalem

Maccabi Tel Aviv is in advanced negotiations with Hapoel Jerusalem to sign 17-and-a-half-year-old forward Israel Dapa, according to ynet. Dapa recently impressed by scoring twice for Jerusalem against Hapoel Petah Tikva in the Toto Cup. He is viewed by Maccabi as the intended replacement for Said Abu-Farhi, who was sold to Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer for around five million euros.

Maccabi Tel Aviv has reportedly submitted a formal offer of approximately two million euros for Dapa. Discussions between the two clubs have been ongoing for several days as they work toward an agreement. Currently, Dapa is under contract with Hapoel Jerusalem for two more years.

If the transfer is completed, Dapa will join Maccabi Tel Aviv as a promising young talent expected to fill the void left by Abu-Farhi's departure. The negotiations reflect Maccabi's strategy to invest in emerging players to strengthen their squad.
