Israeli Singer Ofek Adenek’s Youth Concert Appearance Canceled Amid Domestic Violence Allegations

Following allegations of domestic violence against his ex-partner, Israeli singer Ofek Adenek has had another scheduled performance canceled. After the municipality of Dimona canceled his show, the city of Tirat Carmel also decided to cancel his upcoming youth event appearance. The decision was made out of caution and responsibility, with officials emphasizing respect for the presumption of innocence while investigations continue.

Adenek, 24, a dancehall singer known for hits like "Yotzet Min HaKlal," was arrested last weekend and placed under house arrest after a complaint was filed against him. A video surfaced showing a confrontation between Adenek and his ex-girlfriend Hadass Masouri, who is also under investigation for alleged violence. Adenek denied the accusations, stating he has never been violent toward her or anyone else.

The Tirat Carmel municipality announced that the youth event scheduled for August 25 will proceed with other performers, including Avi Aburumi and Nadav Hantsis. Both Adenek and Masouri await the conclusion of the police investigation, with Masouri expressing trust in the authorities and refraining from engaging with ongoing rumors and misinformation.
