Hapoel Jerusalem Signs Youth Forward Lior Harshko to Four-Year Deal
Hapoel Jerusalem announced the signing of 18-year-old forward Lior Harshko, a member of Israel's youth national basketball team, to a four-year contract extending through the 2029/30 season. Standing 2.01 meters tall, Harshko will be loaned to Elitzur Shomron in the National League for the upcoming season to continue his professional development while maintaining regular collaboration with Hapoel Jerusalem's coaching staff.
Harshko, a product of the Emek Hefer youth system, is regarded as one of the most promising talents in Israeli basketball's younger generation. Last summer, he captained Israel's youth national team at the European Championship, averaging 6 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2 assists over seven games.
