Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona Signs Young Scorer Shahar Doron for Upcoming Season

After a challenging season and a delayed start to roster building, Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona has officially signed 21-year-old basketball player Shahar Doron. Standing 1.95 meters tall, Doron is a product of Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth system and has gained experience in the Israeli Premier League with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Elitzur Netanya, Hapoel Galil Elyon, and Maccabi Ra'anana. Last season, he averaged 3.4 points during the regular season and 9.7 points in relegation battles.

Doron has also been a standout player for Israel's youth national teams. In the 2023 U18 European Championship, he led the Israeli team with 20 points per game, along with 4.1 rebounds and 4 assists, earning a spot on the tournament's second all-star team. Over the past two years, he has been part of the U20 national team, posting averages of 12 points and 3.4 rebounds per game at the 2025 U20 European Championship.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona aims to integrate Doron as a central figure in their squad as they prepare for the upcoming season in the Israeli Premier League.
