Hapoel Kfar Shalem Strengthens Squad with Nir Dror from Hapoel Petah Tikva
Hapoel Kfar Shalem has bolstered its roster by signing defender Nir Dror from Hapoel Petah Tikva. Dror, 32, who played for Hapoel Petah Tikva over the past four seasons, will join the team immediately, providing a significant reinforcement. He is expected to join teammates Iv Ransom (from Hapoel Jerusalem), Tomer Tzarfati (from Maccabi Netanya), and Matan Beit Yaakov (from Maccabi Jaffa), all of whom have already strengthened the squad under coach Noam Shoham. Additional reinforcements on loan from Maccabi Tel Aviv are also anticipated.
Dror developed in Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth system and has played for several second and third division Israeli clubs, including Beitar Kfar Saba, Hapoel Rishon LeZion, and M.S. Kafr Qasim. In the 2021/22 season, he was a key player for Kafr Qasim during their promotion push to the Premier League. He joined Hapoel Petah Tikva during the 2022/23 season, becoming an important player and helping the team secure promotion to the Premier League.
In other National League news, Raz Toizer left Hapoel Akko, where he served as captain, to join the ambitious project at Hapoel Afula. This move was also reported by Sport 5 on July 5, 2026.
