Hapoel Kfar Shalem Strengthens Squad with Nir Dror from Hapoel Petah Tikva
Hapoel Kfar Shalem has bolstered its roster by signing defender Nir Dror from Hapoel Petah Tikva. Dror, 32, who has played for Hapoel Petah Tikva over the past four seasons, will join the team immediately, providing a significant reinforcement. He grew up in Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth system and has experience in Israel's second and third leagues with clubs such as Beitar Kfar Saba, Hapoel Rishon LeZion, and M.S. Kafr Qasim. In the 2021/22 season, Dror was a key player for Kafr Qasim during their promotion push to the Premier League, and he joined Hapoel Petah Tikva during the 2022/23 season, helping them secure promotion to the top division.
Dror will join teammates Ibe Ransom (from Hapoel Jerusalem), Tomer Tzarfati (from Maccabi Netanya), and Matan Beit Yaakov (from Maccabi Jaffa), who have already strengthened the squad under coach Noam Shoham. The team is also expected to receive additional loan players from Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In related National League news, Raz Toizer, former captain of Hapoel Akko, has left the club to join the promising project at Hapoel Afula.
