Noam Avivi Signs with Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona as First Signing of Season
Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona has secured its first player signing ahead of the upcoming basketball season in the Israeli Premier League. Forward Noam Avivi, 27 years old and standing 2.05 meters tall, finalized his contract with the club. Avivi was also sought after by Bnei Herzliya but chose to join the southern team.
Born in Givatayim, Avivi began his career with Bnei Herzliya and has since played for several teams including Hapoel Kfar Saba, Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Gilboa/Galil, Hapoel Eilat, and Hapoel Afula, where he spent two seasons. Last season, he started with Ironi Nes Ziona before transferring mid-season to Hapoel Galil Elyon, finishing the season there.
Throughout his career in the Premier League, Avivi has averaged 5.1 points and 2.7 rebounds in about 15 minutes per game. This signing comes shortly after Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona confirmed it will compete in the Premier League this season.
