Noam Avivi Signs with Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona as First Signing of Season
Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona has secured its first player signing for the upcoming basketball season by agreeing terms with forward Noam Avivi. The 27-year-old, standing 2.05 meters tall, finalized his contract with the southern club after also attracting interest from Bnei Herzliya. Avivi, originally from Givatayim, began his professional career with Bnei Herzliya and has since played for several teams including Hapoel Kfar Saba, Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Gilboa/Galil, Hapoel Eilat, and Hapoel Afula, where he spent two seasons. Last season, he started with Ironi Nes Ziona before transferring mid-season to Hapoel Galil Elyon, finishing the year there. Over his career in the Israeli Premier League, Avivi has averaged 5.1 points and 2.7 rebounds in about 15 minutes per game. This signing follows the club's recent confirmation that it will compete in the Premier League this season.
