Two Killed in Fatal Car Crash Near Tal Azeka Include Rabbi Meir Turgeman

A tragic car accident occurred overnight on Route 383 near Tal Azeka, resulting in the deaths of two men. The first victim was Rabbi Meir Turgeman, aged 42, a respected resident of Beit Shemesh who had just celebrated his son’s bar mitzvah two days prior. Rabbi Turgeman is survived by his wife Yael and nine young children. The second victim was Noam Dadon, 27, from the settlement of Shdot Micha, who was due to marry in about two months. The collision involved two private vehicles, both severely damaged and overturned on opposite sides of the road. Rescue forces declared both men dead at the scene. Firefighters conducted a complex extraction from one of the vehicles. Volunteers from ZAKA Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh units worked for approximately four hours at the difficult crash site, assisting police investigators who have opened a probe into the circumstances of the deadly accident. ZAKA commanders are supporting the bereaved families during this difficult time. The victims’ souls were honored with traditional rites.
