Three Teens Charged with Two-Hour Sexual Abuse Under Knife Threat in Beersheba

A disturbing case of prolonged sexual abuse has emerged in Beersheba, where three boys aged 13 to 14 allegedly threatened two 14-year-olds with a kitchen knife, forcing them to perform sexual acts on each other for two hours while recording the abuse. The incident occurred late at night during the summer vacation on a street, without any prior conflict between the parties involved.

According to the indictment filed by the Southern District Prosecutor's Office at the Beersheba Juvenile District Court, the main suspect pressed a knife to one victim's neck multiple times, while another assailant physically assaulted the victims. The attackers threatened to harm the victims' families if they reported the incident. The case was investigated by the Beersheba Police and the youth division, led by detective Kfir Malkof.

Senior investigator Miri Talshir, who has 26 years of experience and works at the "Beit Lin" youth protection center, described the case as "pure evil" and a "psychological murder" with no motive. She noted the victims have suffered ongoing trauma, including nightmares and fear of leaving home. Talshir emphasized that such cases represent a severe escalation in youth violence, distinct from typical summer fights.

The victims were initially identified when they sought medical treatment at a hospital, prompting suspicion of criminal acts. Testimonies were collected in a protected, child-friendly environment at Beit Lin, designed to minimize further trauma. Talshir highlighted that while thousands of children suffer sexual abuse, there is no full recovery, only lifelong coping with anxiety and self-harm.

This case has received limited public attention amid a broader surge in youth violence in Israel, including the recent murder of Destaou Chekol. Talshir stressed the importance of professional intervention and noted that minors aged 14 and above can seek help independently at such centers without parental knowledge.
