Three Teens Charged with Two-Hour Sexual Assault Under Knife Threat in Beersheba

A disturbing case of prolonged sexual abuse has emerged in Beersheba, where three boys aged 13 to 14 allegedly forced two 14-year-olds to perform sexual acts on each other for two hours under knife threats. The attackers also recorded the abuse on video. The incident occurred late at night during the summer vacation on a street, with no prior conflict between the parties involved.

According to the indictment filed by the Southern District Prosecutor's Office at the Beersheba Juvenile Court, the three accused boys, who were drinking alcohol and armed with a kitchen knife, coerced the victims by threatening them and physically assaulting them. One suspect pressed a knife to a victim's neck multiple times, while another physically beat them. After the ordeal, the perpetrators threatened to harm the victims' families if they reported the crime.

The case shocked even veteran investigators. Sergeant Major Miri Talshir, a youth investigator at the "Beit Lin" protection center who took the victims' testimonies, described the event as "pure evil and mental murder without any motive." She compared the trauma to severe violent crimes and emphasized the lasting psychological damage, including ongoing nightmares, anxiety, and self-harm risks.

The investigation was conducted by the Beersheba Police and juvenile division, led by detective Kfir Makhlouf. The victims were interviewed in a protected, child-friendly environment at Beit Lin, a center for minors affected by violence or sexual offenses. Talshir noted that such centers aim to minimize additional trauma by avoiding traditional police settings.

Despite the severity, the case has received limited public attention amid a broader surge in youth violence in Israel. Talshir warned that this incident represents a serious escalation in juvenile violence, distinct from typical summer fights, and highlighted the irreversible harm inflicted on the victims.
