Hightechzon Partners with Simply Gan to Launch 20 Private Kindergartens for Tech Workers Across Israel
Hightechzon, a consumer club for tech employees, has entered a strategic partnership with the private daycare and kindergarten network Simply Gan to establish kindergartens for children aged 0 to 3 throughout Israel. This move marks Hightechzon's entry into the private early childhood education sector, a highly sought-after yet complex field in Israel. Simply Gan currently operates four private kindergartens in Tel Aviv and Ramat Hasharon, some under municipal tenders, and the partnership aims to expand the network to about 20 kindergartens in the coming years.
The new kindergartens will be located in major tech employment centers and family-dense areas, with the first two opening in October 2023 in Herzliya Pituach and Tel Aviv’s Ramat Hahayal, serving around 100 children. The initiative seeks to help parents better balance career and family life by reducing commute times and providing accessible, high-quality education, thereby minimizing employee tardiness and absences.
Simply Gan will continue to lead pedagogical development and management, while Hightechzon will focus on business growth, employer engagement, and strategic partnerships. Monthly fees are expected to start at 6,000 shekels, including August but excluding summer camps. Despite high costs, demand for quality private kindergartens remains strong, with existing locations reporting long waiting lists, such as 1,200 children waiting at a Tel Aviv site.
Hightechzon is exploring models to allocate registration quotas for employees and allow use of welfare and meal budgets to subsidize kindergarten fees. The partnership emphasizes high service standards, with a strong focus on staff quality and retention to address workforce instability and parental concerns. Simply Gan co-founder Itai Barshadski highlighted consistently high parental satisfaction scores above 9.4 out of 10 and favorable staff-to-child ratios.
Hightechzon currently serves over 400,000 employees across 2,800 tech companies in Israel. Omri Glick, VP of New Growth Engines at Hightechzon, noted a shift in employee needs toward meaningful life solutions, with early childhood education becoming a key benefit employers can offer to improve family quality of life.
