High-Tech Workers’ Consumer Club Partners to Launch 20 Early Childhood Education Centers

The Hightechzon consumer club, serving approximately 400,000 tech employees, is entering early childhood education through a strategic partnership with the "Pashut Gan" daycare network, which currently operates four branches in Tel Aviv and Ramat Hasharon. The collaboration aims to establish around 20 kindergartens in high-demand areas near employment centers over the coming years, with new branches planned to open in Herzliya Pituach and the East Yarqon industrial zone by October.

This initiative responds to club members’ needs for accessible early education amid rising living costs. Under the partnership, "Pashut Gan" will maintain pedagogical and operational leadership, while Hightechzon will manage business development, expansion, and employer relations. Key considerations include linking corporate welfare budgets to tuition payments, enabling employees to use existing meal benefits like Ten Bis and Sibbus to help finance kindergarten fees, and prioritizing enrollment for employees of companies partnering with the network, which currently has an average waiting list of about 200 families per intake.

As part of the expansion plan, the partners are negotiating leases with commercial real estate firms in employment hubs. This move reflects a broader trend of consumer clubs and employers directly providing civic services to retain workers. While welfare budgets traditionally focused on perks like meals and vacations, economic pressures have shifted attention to essential recurring expenses such as private early childhood education, where employers seek to create significant perceived value for employees.
