Hapoel Be'er Sheva signs goalkeeper Marco Wolf to three-year deal
Hapoel Be'er Sheva announced on Sunday that it has signed goalkeeper Marco Wolf on a three-season contract. Wolf arrives after five years at Maccabi Petah Tikva, and he joined through his agent Tal Ben Haim.
Wolf said he was “very happy to join the club,” adding that he had previously worked under Ran Kozuch and the staff and was pleased to reunite with them. “I will do everything, together with my new teammates, to achieve the goals before us,” he said. “I am looking forward to starting training in the coming week.”
The report said Maccabi Petah Tikva, which has been promoted to the Premier League, is expected to receive NIS 800,000 in transfer compensation for Wolf. It also stated that Wolf will sign for two years with an option for a third season and will earn about 160,000 euros per year at his new club.
Last season, Wolf made 36 league appearances in the National League for Maccabi Petah Tikva, conceded 42 goals, and kept nine clean sheets.
