Hapoel Be'er Sheva signs Marco Wolf to three-year deal, Eliasi to be loaned out
Hapoel Be'er Sheva completed the transfer of goalkeeper Marco Wolf from Maccabi Petah Tikva on Monday, signing him to a three-season contract that runs through the summer of 2029. The negotiations between the clubs had already been revealed by ynet.
Be'er Sheva will pay Maccabi Petah Tikva NIS 800,000 for the 34-year-old, who will earn 175,000 euros per season. Wolf is expected to become the team’s first-choice goalkeeper, which means Niv Eliasi is likely to leave on loan for the coming season.
Ophir Marciano, who became Be'er Sheva’s starting keeper during the 2025/26 playoff stage, will keep the role in the European qualifying rounds because of his experience. The Wolf deal comes about a week after Marciano signed a one-year extension, his fourth season at the club.
