Hapoel Be'er Sheva Moves Home Matches to Bucharest for Champions League Playoffs

Hapoel Be'er Sheva announced that starting from the Champions League playoff stage, they will host their home matches at the Golsti Arena in Bucharest, Romania. This change comes after the team secured a crucial 1-0 away win against Red Star Belgrade in Hungary, which was their last match at the Sombathely stadium. The Golsti Arena, with a capacity of 14,050 seats, is the home ground of Rapid Bucharest and will also be used for the group stage matches if the team advances.

The club expressed gratitude to the Israeli and Romanian football associations for their assistance in approving the stadium switch. Additionally, Hapoel Be'er Sheva thanked the Haladás Sportkomplexum stadium staff and the Hungarian Football Federation for their warm hospitality and support during the last two matches played in Hungary. The move was facilitated due to other teams not qualifying for this stage, allowing the change of venue.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva is preparing for a challenging second leg against Red Star Belgrade, aiming to secure a spot in the Champions League playoffs and potentially the group stage. The club's head coach is Ran Kozuch.
