Mother Gives Birth to Baby Girl in Car on Way to Ashdod Hospital
A rare childbirth event took place on Sunday evening involving 29-year-old Shlomit Magaznik from Be'er Ganim. While en route to Assuta Ashdod Hospital, where she was scheduled for delivery, Shlomit unexpectedly gave birth to her first daughter, Libi, in the back seat of the car. Shlomit was at 40 weeks of pregnancy and had attended a routine checkup two days earlier. During the night, she began experiencing contractions but did not realize she was in active labor. Shortly after, she told her husband, "I'm giving birth," and within seconds, Libi was born in the vehicle before they could reach the hospital.
