Israeli Police Deport 47 Foreign BDS and Anarchist Activists to Protect Settlements

A special unit established within the Israeli Police's Central District (Yam'ar Shai) has been monitoring foreign anti-Israel activists, sharing intelligence with the Population and Immigration Authority to prevent their entry or facilitate their deportation. Since the unit's inception, 47 foreign activists have been deported, and over 130 others have been barred from entering Israel in 2026 alone. The unit focuses on individuals aiming to undermine Israel's legitimacy, disrupt security forces, and oppose settlement activities.

The teams collect detailed information on these activists and coordinate with the Ministry of Interior and immigration authorities to block their entry or remove them if already inside the country. This proactive approach is intended to thwart attempts to harm Israeli settlements and security operations.

On Sunday evening, a special discussion is scheduled between National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Shikli. The meeting will address police efforts against foreign BDS and anarchist activists operating in the West Bank, particularly in Judea and Samaria, who seek to damage settlement efforts and security forces' activities.
