Rabbi Yedidya Rahamim Yifrah, Founder of Elad Synagogue, Dies at 45

Rabbi Yedidya Rahamim Yifrah, founder and gabbai of the Ohel Tamar synagogue and a leading figure in the Sephardic yeshiva community in Elad, passed away on Saturday night at the age of 45. He was known for his kindness and dedication to the community. Rabbi Yifrah was the son of Rabbi Asher Yifrah and left behind a widow and seven orphaned children. In recent years, he battled a severe illness that worsened over the past year. His funeral took place on Saturday night at 10:45 PM, starting from the Ohel Tamar synagogue to the Elad cemetery where he was laid to rest. The family is sitting shiva at 16 Rabbi Chiya Street. May his soul be bound in the bond of life.
