Son of Former Maccabi Tel Aviv Star Scores Against Real Madrid in Friendly

Meho Kodro, a former Maccabi Tel Aviv player with a notable career in La Liga, is the father of Kenan Kodro, who recently scored against Real Madrid in a friendly match. Meho Kodro played 263 La Liga games, scoring 105 goals for clubs including Barcelona, Tenerife, Alavés, and Real Sociedad before moving to Israel. He also represented Bosnia and Yugoslavia internationally and retired after winning the Israeli State Cup with Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2001. After retiring, he briefly coached the Bosnian national team and held other coaching roles.

Kenan Kodro, Meho's son, followed a similar path, playing for Real Sociedad and later Athletic Bilbao, with stints in Denmark, Germany, and Turkey.
