With just two weeks remaining until the league begins, Hapoel Ramat Gan has yet to secure a senior goalkeeper following a setback involving Sharif Kiyouf, who suffered an Achilles tendon rupture, canceling his transfer despite previously agreeing to terms. The club identified Niv Eliasi and Omer Nir'on as leading candidates, but Eliasi chose to sign in Greece, while Nir'on is expected to regain fitness in about a month, and negotiations over his salary have stalled.

Mohammad Abu Neil, currently the second-choice goalkeeper at Bnei Sakhnin, is also under consideration by Ramat Gan's coaching staff, although there is some hesitation about his signing.
