Trump Predicts Iran Conflict Will End Soon, Warns Against Nuclear Weapons

US President Donald Trump expressed optimism on Thursday that the situation with Iran will conclude soon, stating he does not believe Iran can continue its current course much longer. Speaking at a White House press dinner, Trump said, "I think we are progressing very well. I am involved in negotiations, and I think we are in a good position. This could happen very soon." He emphasized the critical importance of his campaign against Iran, warning that allowing the Iranian regime to acquire nuclear weapons would have catastrophic global consequences. "Otherwise, the whole world could explode. We will not let that happen," Trump said, highlighting the threat not only to the Middle East but to the entire world.

In a Fox News interview the previous day, Trump reiterated that Iran will never have nuclear weapons, asserting that Iran currently lacks the capability and soon this will be officially confirmed. He also warned that the Strait of Hormuz, a vital shipping route, will reopen soon or face severe consequences. When asked about Iran potentially reneging on agreements, Trump responded that Iran would suffer a harsh blow if it did so again, underscoring his firm stance that Iran must not obtain nuclear arms.
