Trump Predicts Iran Conflict Resolution Post-US Midterms

U.S. President Donald Trump stated he believes a conflict with Iran will conclude following the U.S. midterm elections in November, expressing no regrets about any potential war. In an interview with Fox News, Trump reiterated his commitment to preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, asserting that the U.S. had dismantled Iran's nuclear capabilities and that this action prevented Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Trump described Iranians as "crazy," suggesting they were capable of using a nuclear weapon to destroy Israel, the Middle East, and even target U.S. cities. He also addressed statements regarding the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that Iran does not control it, but rather the United States does. Trump further suggested Iran believes Democrats would permit it to acquire nuclear weapons.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged that Iran would not obtain nuclear weapons as long as he heads the government. In a video released recently, Netanyahu affirmed Trump's statements regarding Iran's renewed attempts to arm itself with nuclear weapons. He added that after Israel destroyed Iran's direct capability to produce nuclear bombs through operations "Ascending Lion" and "Lion's Roar," Iran is now trying again.
