Man from Nesher Charged with Sexual Assault of Children Over Two Decades
The State Prosecutor's Office filed charges against Alon Suissa at the Haifa District Court for sexual offenses against two girls and for rape and indecent acts involving a boy and a girl in 2003-2004. Suissa allegedly contacted a 10-year-old girl via TikTok and WhatsApp, impersonating a boy named "Yarin," and engaged in explicit sexual conversations, requesting videos and photos of her body and sending images of his genitalia. He also communicated sexually with another girl aged eight. According to the indictment, about 20 years ago, Suissa committed sexual offenses against a five-year-old girl and a six-year-old boy, including leading them to an abandoned shack where he sexually assaulted the girl and committed an indecent act against the boy. He framed the acts as a "game" and threatened the girl not to tell anyone.
The case emerged after a father from northern Israel discovered sexually explicit messages on his nine-year-old daughter's phone, leading to a police investigation. Suissa had infiltrated WhatsApp groups of girls aged 8 to 11 playing the "Squishy" game. Police cybercrime chief Rachali Binyamin described how undercover investigation linked Suissa to eight victims. Following the publication of his name and photo, the court authorized releasing footage of Suissa's densely decorated room to help identify additional victims who might recognize the space.
The indictment was submitted by attorney Meirav Bar from the Haifa District Prosecutor's Office. The investigation continues as authorities seek further victims and evidence related to Suissa's crimes.
