Israeli Court Extends Detention of Alon Suisa, Releases Footage from His Room in Underage Sexual Abuse Case
The Haifa Magistrate's Court has extended the detention of Alon Suisa, 46, from Nesher, for an additional seven days. Suisa is suspected of committing sexual offenses against minors online after joining a WhatsApp group related to squash. Following the publication of his photo last week to help identify more victims, the court authorized the release of footage from his private room where he conducted conversations. Authorities believe that while some victims may not recognize his face, they might identify his room. Police have urged anyone with information about other incidents involving Suisa to come forward and file a complaint at any police station nationwide.
