IDF Reports Two Suspected Aerial Impacts Near the Lebanon Border
On Sunday morning, shortly before 8:00 a.m., air-raid sirens sounded in several communities in Western Galilee over a suspected hostile aircraft intrusion. The alarms came during the busy morning commute, when many residents were on their way to work and schools.
Soon afterward, the Israel Defense Forces said two suspected aerial targets had fallen inside Israeli territory near the Lebanon border. The military said there were no casualties and that the circumstances were under investigation.
The IDF did not immediately provide additional details about the type of targets, where they were launched from, or whether interception attempts were made. Videos circulating on social media appeared to show a drone flying near one Western Galilee community and then exploding in open ground nearby.
The reports come amid ongoing tensions in the north, where Hezbollah has repeatedly been mentioned in connection with cross-border attacks. No further official update was included in the article.
