Iranian Opposition Denounces Regime Support Rallies Amid Hormuz Strait Talks

As negotiations between Iran and Oman progress toward a new arrangement in the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian opposition activists and journalists are intensifying criticism of the regime’s internal repression and strategic ambitions. Opposition voices claim that pro-regime rallies circulating on social media are not spontaneous but orchestrated and funded by the authorities. Documents allegedly leaked from the official Iranian procurement system reveal that the government budgets for food, drinks, sound systems, and logistical support for these gatherings, contradicting the regime’s narrative of grassroots support.
